Essential skills: A one or two day training course centred around the skills a manager will use on a day to day basis when managing staff. Ideally suited for new managers, this course covers Performance reviews, dealing with difficult situations, delegation, communication and interpersonal skills. It is a participative course that encourages attendees to discuss issues and gives the opportunity for some practical work.
Diversity: A half or one day course designed for those who have no prior knowledge (or limited knowledge) of diversity. This course will cover subjects such as Stereotypes Language of diversity Prejudices and relevant legislation. This discussion based course aims to highlight current diversity issues and send delegates away with an understanding of the link between prejudice and behaviour in the workplace.
Customer Care: This one day course looks further into the skills needed to deliver excellent customer care including: Dealing with difficult customers Communication skills Listening skills The modern consumer
Communication skills: This course is all about getting the right message across to your audience in the right way.
This course will cover areas such as: Body Language Tone of voice Written communication Interpersonal skills.
Stress Management: This course focuses on why we are stressed and how this affects us at home and in work. There is also an opportunity to look at how our stress can affect others around us. Some tips for dealing with stress. This is a confidential environment for attendees to discuss issues (if they wish) or an opportunity to learn more about stress and how to combat it. |
