At 33 years of age now, I started my sales career back in 1992 working firstly from home as a telemarketer on behalf of sales consultants working for various multi national health insurance companies. Stemming from my early childhood, I used to make items to sell to neighbours and family, then progressing to car washing and many others. At 17 years old, my sales career “officially” started. Going on from my first sales position, after a year of extremely successful telemarketing, leaving behind me some very happy sales reps, I joined a national hygiene company at 18 years old working in the direct marketing department, again I did extremely well, always hitting targets and helped arrange the sale of several national six figure contracts. At the time, due to structural changes, the department was closed and I found myself made redundant. Again, the sales people that I made appointments for were very sad to see me leaving. I then made what turned out to be a very good career move, I joined one of the most successful UK motor insurance companies based in Cardiff, helping to kick off the company along with my other very dedicated colleagues selling in excess of 8500 policies amounting to around £3.5m and also getting my new bug for sales training and the mechanics/psychology behind it. I started early in sales and decided after more than 5 years working for the insurance company and generally loving every moment of it, I needed a break. I packed my possessions and left for South East Asia. After travelling around Sumatra, Malaysia and Thailand I decided to start helping out with my good friend who ran the resort I stayed in, this turned out to run for much longer than I anticipated! After two years of periodically living on a tropical island, I decided I needed to return to my career! For the last six years I have worked for one of the most successful business credit reference agencies in the UK & Europe. After working for this company as their company sales trainer for two years, sales person and key account sales person, I had decided after taking my CIPD - Certificate in Training Practice course & Fellow of the institute of sales & marketing management procedures to setup Miracle Training Limited in July 2007. I have a burning passion for sales, learning and transferring my extremely detailed knowledge of sales onto my clients. Now my business is to perform my miracles with your sales staff!
